EASY APPS and finger food for your Super Bowl Sunday Party! Green Drip

EASY APPS and finger food for your Super Bowl Sunday Party! Green Drip

Next up on the Superbowl Party Platter EASY app list is GREEN DRIP!

Green Drip is our first baby. It was the sauce that started it all. Every time I served this at a dinner party, people would ask me how they can get some on the side to stock their fridge! Simple ingredients that haven't yet landed in the condiment world come together to create this BOLD new addition to any pantry. We love the incredibly diverse uses for this sauce, as it pairs just as well with a high end cut of meat as it does with dipping regular tortilla chips into! Elevate every dish with the simple drop of the drip!

  • Jicama: It's is a root vegetable that's high in fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants. It's low in calories, fat, and sodium, and it's a good source of potassium, magnesium, and manganese. Jicama can help with digestion, weight management, and heart health. Cut em up into wedges and dip away!

  • Zucchini Sticks: Zuchs are considered good for you because they are PACKED with nutrients like vitamin C and K, it's high in fiber, low in calories, and contains antioxidants, which promote good eye health, digestion, and overall wellbeing. Think Zen in a veggie!

  • Chips: Think potato, corn, cassava, or beyond! We love the ease of just tossing out a bowl of this banger and letting the crowd get their crunch on with a lil drip. A pro tip is to take THIN slices of sweet potato, toss in olive oil and a wee bit of salt, put them in the oven for 20 minutes, rotate and let them sit for another 10-15. Homemade sweet pot chips that are healthy, and delicious with the green drip!

Let's see a comparison of us versus the "other guys":

Dabble: Coconut alternatives keep this drip fresh and full of healthy ingredients without sacrificing flavor. We said a hard no to seed oils—something the other guys didn’t. We're all about giving our people the best, so we don’t cut any corners when it comes to what goes in the jar.

"The other guys" : Rule number one of a healthy diet is everything in moderation. Contrary to this popular product where the theme seems to be "drink seed oils". Yuck. Can we also talk about how calcium chloride is used to de-ice sidewalks in the winter time? I personally DONT want that in my body! And then there is the "sugar" in the ingredients label... what kind of sugar are we talking about? We don't believe in hiding the truth like this sauce has done.

A little more data on the sunflower seed oil issue. Omega 6 is NOT the good fat. Omega 3 is the best for you (aka the salmon fat). If you make the completely errant mistake of not choosing to dabble with your sauces, then make sure you are at least reading your labels!
